Feel free to register and add stuff on this Wiki. We are searching for many interested coders and users, who want to support the development of interesting new apps for the Olympus m:robe mr-500i player.

The mr-500i is a little but powerful device, that comes with a software, that doesn't take out at all what the device would be possible to.

Since the second half of 2006, there exists a exploited firmware, that allows the player to run c-based code using the not much used "remix function". At current instance, there existe already some few apps to demonstrate, what IS possible with the m:robe player (see esp. DOOM on the mrobe)

What we don't have for the moment, are very usefull apps for the m:robe. Most of the users are missing the possibility to play back video - a nice field to work on. But because of the touchscreen, there are many other interesting apps we could create for the m:robe, like small games, some PDA-functions (calendar, notes, e-book function).

Therefore we need the help of anyone who is interested in coding and hacking the m:robe. The more people help in develop, the faster there will be some nice apps for your m:robe.
