Let’s SOLVE it

Hey SCESoc!

Borealis AI, the AI research centre created by Royal Bank of Canada is opening its new cycle for its program Let’s SOLVE it. Let’s SOLVE it is an AI mentorship program that aims to help undergraduate students in Canadian universities and colleges make a difference in their communities through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

This free 2-months program provides students with mentorship, contacts, training and the guidance needed to solve a problem in their local community and turn their idea into a viable proof-of-concept. We’re looking for teams of 3 to 5 undergraduate students. The mentorship program is conducted virtually and runs from May 1st to July 1st.

Anyone interested can learn more about this initiative here. Applications close at 11:59pm ET on March 31st 2022.

For questions, students interested can email us at mi.research@borealisai.com and use subject line: Let’s SOLVE it | Undergraduate Mentorship Program.
