Seriously, what is programming?
Hey SCESoc! Our first academic event will be on Wednesday, September 29 at 6pm! (https://carleton-ca.zoom.us/j/91976260834)
Most programming courses just teach you the syntax of different languages without going into what programming really is and why we write code in the first place.
In this workshop, we’ll dive into a little bit of the history of computers and slowly work our way towards writing your first python program by first learning how to communicate with a computer (using bash commands).
